Dr.Wilbur received her BSN from Marquette University, a MS IN Public Health Nursing and PhD in Nursing Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr.Wilbur and her colleagues have conducted a series of community-based clinical trials to develop and test cost effective interventions to increase physical activity and improve cardiovascular health middle-aged women. The Women’s Lifestyle Physical Activity Program is currently being adapted for use with asthmatic African American women at the University of Illinois at Chicago and with pregnant women at Wayne State University.
