Dr. Roy is a community and developmental psychologist whose research falls into three areas of focus: (1) neighborhoods as contexts of risk and protection; (2) the conceptualization and experience of income and poverty; and (3) the promotion of resilience among low-income, racial/ethnic minority youth.
